Job Title: Freelance Digital Merchandising Specialist

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing

Location: Hybrid- Onsite 1-2x per week in NYC

Hourly Rate: $30-35/hour (DOE)

FT Hours

Responsibilities:

• Manage site products and content
• Configure/add/remove/edit items
• Move product to clearance as per brands schedule
• Rank product based on the brand’s strategy (conversion, margin, sale)
• Build categories according to schedules
• Attend weekly planning meetings for brand to clearly understand the brands plans as it relates to product on the site.
• Conduct daily audits of the website to ensure everything is correctly classified
• Review product classifications prior to upload and spot check once live ensuring product placement is logical for the customer
• Assist in general departmental operations as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1-2 years e-commerce experience and thorough understanding of online retailing
• Strong analytic skills and computer skills
• Strong knowledge of Excel i.e. v-lookup, pivot tables
• Demonstrated presentation, verbal and written skills
• Ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment while juggling multiple responsibilities.
• Strong teamwork skills, ability to listen, contribute as a positive and solution oriented team player
• Ability to think creatively
• Proficiency in both SFCC (SalesForce) and Omniture is a plus

Expected salary: $30 – 35 per hour
