Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Strategic Sourcing Teams develop and implement multi-year strategies for assigned commodities, suppliers and parts/services to achieve established goals in supplier quality, delivery, price and service. They align strategy and execution with cross-functional partners such as engineering, manufacturing, product management and functional owners. They execute the competitive bid, negotiation, contracting processes and/or technical continuous improvement for assigned commodities or services; collaborate across Business Units and cross-regions for optimal TE leverage. Our teams demonstrate a high level of expertise in procurement competencies (business/supply chain acumen, negotiation, sourcing strategy development and execution, global savvy, and project and product lifecycle management) and ensure results are delivered compliant with TE policies and procedures.

Tasks and responsibilities :

• Confirmation and follow-up thru its corresponding payment
• Tracking milestones and problem-solving with suppliers and internal functions
• Escalation management
• Optimize available stock across TE
• Be the first line of communication to the suppliers
• Help driving all relevant Procurement KPIs with a high focus on delivery, quality, and costs
• Lead continuous improvement projects to drive KPI performance

What your background should look like:

• Bachelor degree (preferably)
• Experience in the Automotive Industry is a plus
• Negotiation skills
• Project management skills
• Good knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office, i.e. Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint; SAP
• English fluency in reading and writing, English business level
• Problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and communication skills
• Project management skills and ability to multi-task
• Ability to work in a matrix environment with multi-cultural teams
• Ability to demonstrate strong customer focus and continuous improvement attitude
• Ability to form successful working relationships quickly at all levels
• Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office, i.e. Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
• Knowledge in the use of SAP (optional)
• Fluent in English both written and spoken, local Language is a plus
