HDS FOOD PTY LTD t/a CURRYPORT INDIAN CUISINE RESTAURANT MANAGER $56,000 – $65,000 Permanent/Full-time Duties/Responsibilities • Undertake the planning of the restaurant, and setting priorities and service standards • Manage and monitor local marketing, advertising and promotions • Manage bookings, functions & events, and deal with customer queries in a timely manner with confidence and flair • Recruit, select, train, coach and develop staff • Maintain ongoing consultation with kitchen staff to ensure food preparation is in line with what customers are ordering • Prepare and work within budget guidelines in relation to overheads, raw materials and labour costs • Maintain stock levels following “just-in-time” principles to avoid wastage • Maintain good working relationship with key suppliers • Financial and cost management reporting, including payroll, cost of goods and consumables • Publish rosters and shift breakups according to forecasted sales and budgets • Implement Company policies and procedures to ensure compliance, food safety and operational standards are always maintained • Ensure customer satisfaction through the delivery of seamless customer service and evaluate customer feedback with a focus on continuous improvement • Manage customer concerns and resolve them in a positive, cost-effective manner • Always ensure that the restaurant is presented well, and all plant and equipment (including IT) are in optimum condition and functioning – to support the operation of the business Qualifications • AQF Advance Diploma or Diploma and/or at least three years of relevant experience.
